Close Contact Saddle INFO:
A close contact saddle has a flat seat and very little knee rolls. The rider is able to feel the horse’s side with their legs — hence the “close contact.” With a close contact saddle, the rider must work harder at maintaining the correct leg and knee positions since there is very little leather to assist their positions.
